About Me
As someone who loves to read and write, I have always been drawn to a career path that draws on these passions.Â
Throughout my childhood, my parents instilled in me a love of reading. One of my earliest memories is of me sitting in my parents' queen size bed reading a Spot the Dog book. As I grew older, so did my reading taste, and soon, I was reading far above the average grade level for my age. That desire to read eventually blossomed into a love of writing, and I began to create my own stories and characters. In middle school, I made the decision to write one of those stories down. It was what one might expect of a middle-schooler’s writing, but I was proud of it nonetheless, and showed it to anyone who was willing to read it.
Now, I am turning that love of reading and writing into a career. However, I have found that my writing path has changed slightly. Where I had once hoped to be a creative writer, I now wish to make a career as a technical, content, or marketing writer. My love of crafting prose spans any genre, and I believe my work showcases my flexibility and dedication as a writer and an editor.
